The apartment building, with its raking cornice, connects the low terraced houses in the Baron Frans du Fourstraat with the new, higher, Turnhout art academy. The sloping profile offers the possibility of integrating spacious roof terraces in the building.

The robust red brick architecture, recessed windows and concrete plinth all bear witness to the former industrial architecture of the site. The building comprises 30 apartments and 2 commercial spaces.
